Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag says he has learned a lot from his US tour and is now looking to recover ahead of the new season.

The Dutch boss said he had learned a lot and now it was time to recover and prepare for the new season.
“It’s a mixed feeling. I think I saw some positives but of course the goal we conceded. We’re not happy about that.” Ten Hag said.
“Of course Liverpool are a very good team, they play very aggressively and have a high quality of goalscoring, so they did very well and we are not happy with that.”
“As I said, I think it’s a positive and the first goal is always important. I thought Liverpool played very well and they have a lot of potential.”
“The whole team and staff did a great job. The end of a tour is always tough. But we are pleased with the effort they put in. We stuck together, we worked according to the team’s style of play.”
“Now it’s time to recover because it was difficult, especially towards the end. But you learn a lot about your team. Now we have to recover and then prepare for the next game, which is an important one.”
For Manchester United, they will return to England to prepare for the Community Shield against Manchester City on August 10.
