Olympique Lyon are looking to offload players in the winter as their current financial situation threatens relegation.
French journalist Romain Molina report that Lyon’s financial situation is in crisis and is being closely monitor by DNCG, and there is a chance that they will be relegate if they do not fix this issue.
While OL still has time to fix the situation in January, the key factors are offloading surplus players to improve the wage cap, as well as balancing the revenue account.
According to a further report from Le Progres, a local media outlet in the Rhône Alpes, Lyon’s debt situation is not so good, with the club’s debt recently increasing from 458 million euros to 508 million euros.
As mention earlier, Lyon need to find a way to offload players, especially third-choice goalkeeper Anthony Lopes, who has been ยูฟ่าเบท demote to the reserves but is on one of the club’s highest wage bills.
