Liverpool continued their excellent run of form by beating Manchester United 3-0 in a friendly in the United States.

At the start of the game in the 8th minute, Manchester United had the first chance. Toby Collyer passed the ball to Mason Mount who shot with his right. But the ball went straight to Caoimhin Kelleher who saved it.
Two minutes later, it was Liverpool who took the lead. Diogo Jota passed the ball to Fabio Carvalho, who feinted with Casemiro before firing a left-footed shot into the net. That Andre Onana could only watch.
In the 13th minute, United almost equalized. Casemiro lifted the ball to Mason Mount who broke into the penalty area. But when he shot, Caoimhin Kelleher came out to close the angle quickly and made an excellent save.

Three minutes later, United had a chance to break the deadlock when Casemiro passed the ball to Ethan Wheatley, who fired a shot from inside the box but it was saved by Liverpool substitute goalkeeper Vitezslav Jaros.
In the 76th minute, Liverpool used the rhythm to counterattack. Tyler Morton passed the ball to Ben Doak who pressed with his left foot, but the ball went wide. The game ended with Liverpool winning easily 3-0. Arne Slot’s team will play their last warm-up game against Sevilla at Anfield on August 11, while Manchester United will compete in the Community Shield against Manchester City on August 10.
